Uk lockdown make me smile week 1

As we hear that we in the UK are headed back into lockdown without the prospect of summer sun I thought I would start a series of swaps to bring some happiness to our mail boxes, I will host a swap each week we are in lockdown and these swaps are designed to be sent with either a regular or large letter stamp so if the postoffices shut or have restricted hours and we can’t access them we can still join in.

I will initially set up the first 4 weeks, please be aware that these swaps have a shortish turnaround.

Week 1: Happy Mail, note card and a decorated envelope Week 2: Craft Mail, make your partner some crafted happy mail such as a decorated tag, pocket letter, set of 3 ATC’s, flipbook ect. Week 3: Flat Gift, this might be 3 small handmade decorated envelopes, 10 die cuts, blank note cards and envelope ect. Week 4: Decorated Letter, write your partner a letter, tell them a little bit about yourself, how you are coping with lockdown and what you like about swaps. Decorate the letter and the envelope.

Week 1 - This can be made in advance, decorate an envelope, stickers can be used but no sticker slapping and add a notecard with a brief note in and send to your partner.
