Description: | |
Thanksgiving is coming up fast and thought why not do a Thankful HAiku postcard swap. So you can send a postcard, senders choice, and write a nice Haiku on it with the topic "Thankful" Haiku is a type of short form poetry originally from Japan. Traditional Japanese haiku consist of three phrases in a 5, 7, 5 pattern. However, modern haiku vary widely on how closely they follow these traditional elements. Please note that you will have 5 days to send this swap out so that it is traveling / arrriving for Thanksgiving. So that is the general idea of the Thankful Haiku postcard swap. You will have 2 partners to send to. This swap is Newbie friendly. You don't have to be a poet to join. This is just a fun activity that anyone can get in on! If your partner sends you a postcard with a Haiku on it and they sent it on time then they deserve a 5. Hearts are your choice. Please feel free to reach out with any questions! Nicole |
