Embellishments for Jenny's Wedding Gown

Dear Ladies,

Our dear Jenny Wren is finally to marry her sweetheart. After several misunderstanding, true love has prevailed, but Major Venning has been called back to his regiment due to threat of war with France. Rather than await his return, for they do not know how long he shall be away, Major Venning has procured a special license from the Archbishop of Canterbury and Mr. Thomas has kindly agreed to marry the couple after the church service on Sunday.

Jenny has a gown for the wedding but has not had time to get those special bits of lace, ribbon and other things that shall make her gown lovely. For this swap we shall help Jenny in this task.

We will have one partner in this swap and to that partner we shall send three embellishments for Jenny’s gown. Things like ribbon, lace, buttons, sequins or little embellishments. Ribbons, lace and trims should be at least 12 inches long, small items like buttons or sequins should be in groups of 5; to be clear 5 buttons equals one item. Use your imagination to dream of what things will make Jenny’s gown beautiful and do check your partners profile to see if she has any especial favourites. With your swap, write of the wedding ceremony to your partner. Let us make this a pretty swap in a pretty envelope for this happy event, something lovely to receive in the post.
