Found Image ATC - INTL

One ‘found image’ ATC to one Partner.

This is in international swap. There is a US only version as well.

Simply find an image that you think your Partner will like and glue it to an ATC blank or other suitable backing. Put the name of the swap and your swap-bot user name on the back, slide it into a protective sleeve and mail it off in an envelope. I also like to put a title and, when I can, the source of the picture, on the back as well.

The ATC should be made of a single image, that you found in a book, magazine, brochure, etc. with no other embellishments. It is not a collage and no stickers, decorative tape, or artwork should be used.

Taking a look at your Partner’s Profile could help you select a good picture for them. I find the best sources for photos are books. I get damaged books from my library and other sources and give them another chance at life by reusing their photos.

An ATC [Artist trading card] is a miniature pieces of art. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5″ x 3.5″. (from: Swap & Craft Term Glossary)

Thanks to @MissBrenda for allowing me to borrow her swap.

Minimum rating to join is 4.8 but this swap is open to newbies.

I am calling this swap a type 3. There is not a lot of work involved in the making of the ATC but I have been known to spend upwards of an hour selecting an appropriate picture.

Thank you for considering my swap.
