👱🏻‍♀️👩🏽‍🦱 International Women’s Day

👋🏼 Hello everyone,

This week on March 8th, globally we celebrate International Women’s Day. IWD commemorates the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. It raises attention to issues such as gender equality and violence and abuse against women.

So for this week’s swap, we do an easy challenge. That is to write a short note about any woman that inspires you or whom you aspire to be. She could be one from your country, or any woman of your choice. You’re welcome to do a little research online on this. Write on a small sheet of paper if there’s a brief history / works she’s done, any quote or picture. It’s all up to you.

You also need to add some goodies that reflect the idea (Women). They do NOT have to be all about women but please include a few. They could be papers, clusters of stickers, a set of washi samples, notecards, postcards, journal cards, tags, labels, old stamps, laces, or even any of your handmade item.

As always, we need to prepare a mail that’s 50gr / 1.8oz at the minimum. The outside envelope can be simply decorated too. Who doesn’t like receiving a light in the mailbox?! 🤩
