Description:

This is a "Block a Month" project, and will continue each month until we will then be able to piece them all together, into a quilt! If you have any specific color choices, please list them.

You will have one partner for this swap. This is an INTERNATIONAL Swap (These pieces will be lightweight and easily mailed.)

Square Details:

•The squares will measure 12.5" x 12.5" "raw edge to raw edge" - when sewn together, they will then measure 12" x 12" square.

•The fabric choice is yours, but the center fabric should be light and the background fabric should be dark.

•Senders, please check in the comments below and try to honor COLOR requests by your partner, if they have one, it will be listed. Also, it would be kind to check their profile for further suggestions.

•Please use 100% cotton

Swap Details:

•You must have a rating of at least 4.8, with no recent no-sends. If you think you've been unfairly rated, let me know, and we can discuss it.

•This swap will be open to newbies , as long as they have a well filled-out profile and message me for approval (and yes, I'll check.)

•You will have a MONTH to complete each round.

•This swap will go on each month of 2009, until we reach #12

•If you did not sign up for all 12 rounds you will not have as many squares at the end of the year, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t join in!! You can either just make a lap quilt or you can alternate your swapped squares with solid squares, sashing, or your own squares to make a bigger quilt.

Any questions, post them here, or message me.

My last four partners have sent me blue and yellow, so it seems like that is my color theme... ha ha... Thanks...

I signed up for this but haven't been in a swap-bot swap in quite a while (had 2 bad swap experiences -- I sent, they didn't); if my profile and previous experience rating is not sufficient to take part in this I completely understand.

I do have a QQ though. . . are we to make sure that the star faces in the same direction as the block sample on the swap posting. . or should it face the other way?

Thanks,

My colours are greens, golds, rust (prairie colours).

All stars should face the same direction ~ Follow the picture above! Cheers!

Blues (a dark dusty, cobalt, or medium), beige, touches of green, rose. Those are my living room colors right now.
