Well my dear ladies and gentlemen of Amberleigh, What with the joys of the recent bazaar at St Hildegarde church, there were a lot of enquirers of the glorious background paper I had used to decorate my booth, to entice some romantic atmosphere within that tent. It has been talked of in London in all of "the" circles and thus I felt it would enhance the rather bored looks upon my subjects faces whilst I cut their silhouettes. Since that successful weekend, my customers have urged me to share with you from whence I did find my papers. Here is my well kept secret. May you enjoy the benefits of such discoveries, the morning provides. Come join with me. Yours in service, Horace Lofthouse In this swap we shall make ourselves some feather weight paper, that is useful to use for backgrounds for further utilization in paper swaps, cards, tags, pockets and decorative elements etc. To make this more Georgian to fit within our era, try and choose a napkin that reflects the patterns used in the 18th Century or Regency. All you need is PVA glue & water, a plastic sheet, a pretty paper napkin with lots of white in the background, and a flat 1" wide brush or similar. That is it. Following the link provided, please join us and have some overnight instant satisfaction. Here is the video link I followed to make the rice paper. The results I found were marvelous and so light. Natasha is an Australian lady, once a refugee...like those in Ukraine right now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EY4rcfdUX8 by Treasure Books - We will have one partner each to share our papers with. We shall look forward to seeing your results in further swaps. Please contact us if you need any further help. |
