King George III - Birthday tea swap

To commemorate the birth of our Monarch, King George III, on June 4th there will be a special tea held in the dining room of the Rose and Crown. A special plum cake to be served along with tea sandwiches and a full bodied earl gray.

For those unable to attend we will have a fun tea bag swap for you to participate:

We will make a very special presentation which includes a window pocket for the tea bag and a spot for a little tag as well. Please follow THIS TUTORIAL to make the pocket with the window. Inside you should have room to slide in a wrapped tea bag to share with your partner. On the back of the tag you can include your name and swapbot id. Slip it all inside a decorated envelope and mail! Quick and easy!

You can mail the tea bag next to the pocket, instead of inside, to reduce the thickness of your envelope. Remember to keep them under 1/4” thick to send with just one stamp!
