Description:

I know some people might be taking a break from swapping for the summer, but I thought I'd take a chance and host round #3 of "this would make a great postcard".

For this swap you will need to find an image that you think would make a great postcard.

This image could be a scenic view, an illustration, or anything you find interesting that makes you say “this would make a great postcard!” As that sentiment is 'in the eye of the beholder', this PC swap will be sender’s choice, but please check your partner’s profile to see what they might really enjoy (or not like) to receive for subject matter. You will have one partner for this swap.

Notes on construction: This postcard should be made using a single hard-copy image (not something you print out or photocopy) perhaps a picture from a magazine/brochure, or an old book or photograph, and it must be at least 4x6 inches in size (larger is fine, just make sure you use enough postage for your country if you decide on an oversized card).

Affix your chosen image to a sturdy backing with glue; heavy card stock or thin cardboard both work well as a backing. Write your partner a nice note, perhaps say something about why you chose that image or where you found it. No other embellishments are required, but don’t forget to add the swap name & your user name! Add the postage and send naked:)

I will angel if necessary, but if issues arise with sending/receiving please do communicate with your partner first. I will check profiles and kindly ask that you do not have any outstanding swaps remaining on your dashboard.

I hope everyone has fun making & receiving a ‘one of a kind’ postcard! Please message with any questions or post below.

Thanks and have a great summer:)
