Charms, Dangles, and Tassels are so versatile for crafty use. You can jazz up your junk journals, planners, use them in your crafty endeavors, hang them from your zipper pulls or purse zippers, the possibilities are endless. There are so many things we can make charms, dangles and tassels out of, including but not limited to: buttons, bottle caps, broken pottery, sea glass, shells, old game pieces, mini-figs, Cracker Jack’s type small items, shrinky-dink plastic, beads, crystals, trims, junk jar/broken/up-cycled jewelry, small bottles, old rhinestones, old ornaments, bubble gum machine prizes/containers, recycled tin, altered paper clips, vintage milk discs, watch bits, Tim Holtz goodies, erasers, resin, old hardware, washers, assemblage, shakers, up-cycled goodness, etc!! Use up some of those bits and bobs in your junk drawer!! We’re going to make 6 charms (charms, dangles or tassels count) for our 1 lucky partner. They can be made of anything. It’s great to have a hanger of some sort—jump ring, lobster claw, bulb pin, etc. If folks enjoy, we can do more of these swaps!! Please wrap with care so they don’t break in the mail. If anyone would like an international version please comment below and I’ll post one. Swap picture from Dearjuliejulie Junk Journal Everyday YouTube Channel. She has a great Video on making dangles and tassels. (Note: This is just for ideas—you are limited only by your imagination—your charms, dangles don’t have to be based on these examples.) Lots of inspiration to be found on Pinterest and YouTube. Swap Re-Cap: ⭐️ Make 6 Items for your 1 partner—they can be charms, dangles, or tassels. They should each have a hanger of some type. (Any number Combo of the 3 satisfies the swap criteria) For instance you can make just 6 charms, or 4 charms and 2 tassels. There just has to be 6 handmade items for your partner. ⭐️ Sender’s choice—So you can start getting crafty now!! ⭐️ Package your items with care so they don’t break in the mail. ⭐️ Include a note with the swap title and your swap-bot ID so your partner knows who to rate and thank. |
