Personal Swap for us to trade more dark themed stuff... Send the following: --at least 4 pieces of black ribbon, lace or other trim made from fabric. Each piece must be at least one foot (12 inches) long. These should be small enough in scale to be used easily for ATCs, scrapbooks or miniatures. New or vintage is fine – please only send items that are of useful quality and that you would be happy receiving! --at least 3 different pieces of dark paper or fabric for ATCs or scrapbook work. These must be primarily black but can be plain or patterned. Each piece should be at least 4x6 inches and each piece must be different. New or old is fine, but please send clean and useable items. --at least 2 other accent items that can be used in making ATCs or other small scale projects. These can be tiny flower, buttons, beads, etc. Your additional items should be black or very dark tones of grey, blue, or purple. Interpret this “2 requirement loosely – if you are sending small items like sequins, you’d want to send a bunch of them PLUS another accent item. If you are sending one chunky, super-fancy button that could be used by itself to accent a project you will want to send AT LEAST one other item. You can send more than two if you wish! --One hand made item by you featuring a dark heart. This can be an ATC, a 4x4, a small bag, a piece of jewelry – anything that you have created and want to send to your partner. The cost to make this item should be under $5. I hope we’ll all put some HEART into this and send our partners an item that features at least an hour or so work, or reflects that some time was put into creating a nice gift. This is a private swap. Contact me if interested in participating. Sign up ends May 5th, send by May 20. |
