Zine-Go-Round, round 37

****NOTE TO FIRST TIME PLAYERS*** PLEASE BE COMMITTED AND SERIOUS. THESE ZINES ARE VALUED LITTLE TREAURES TO THEIR CREATORS. IF YOU CANNOT CONTINUE, PLEASE RETURN THE ZINE YOU'RE HOLDING TO ANY FOUNDER, OR RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL CREATOR, ADDRESS ON REAR OF ZINE, OR TO ANY OTHER PLAYER, WHICH IS BETTER THAN NOT RETURNING IT AT ALL. ZINES ARE NEVER TO BE SENT OUTSIDE OF THE GROUP! Thank you!

The latest incarnation of the immortal Zine-Go-Round Swap. It works like this:

Round 1: You will make a mini-zine from an 8.5 X 11 inch piece of paper (or a nonstandard zine from a different size paper. An 11 X 17 sheet yields an approximately 4" X 6" zine). You will decide on a theme for your zine and decorate the front page (cover) accordingly. Include your contact info on the back cover so your zine can be returned to you when complete. Then you will send that unfinished zine to your partner. Round 1 complete! Wait for the next round.

Round 2: You will decorate a page of the zine you received in Round 1. If the zine you receive has a theme, you must follow the originator's theme. When partners are assigned for Round 2, you have added your contribution and will send it to the partner you are assigned in that round.

Rounds 3 thru infinity: We will continue swapping zines, contributing one page at a time until they are full. If you complete the final page, you must send it back to the originator. You will have to make a new zine to send to your partner in that round. Or you can send an extra one if you have one on hand.

If your assigned partner is the originator of the zine, do not send it back to her (or him ;-) to add a page in their own zine. Again, make a new one to send and keep that one for a further round..

Use any media you like - collage, pencil, marker, paint - however you like to create. If you have any questions, message me. Last but not least: Have fun!
