Why no clear tape on envie? (I do this sometimes to make sure the handwritten address doesn't get smudged off when put through the postal service machines, but now wondering if there's a reason I shouldn't be -?)

You can use tape to secure the back of the envelope or cover the addy, but we don't want people covering their entire Arted on envelope or postcard with tape. Some people have used tape, like a laminating machine so Every area is covered with tape...this causes issues for the postal service and fellow swappers who can not open the envelope, or they inadvertently cut whatever is inside the envelope trying to get in, etc. Not to mention, covering something totally in tape usually isn't done well, and just looks like crap, imo.
