Victorian Mourning Paper Art Doll

Greetings! This swap is nominally for the Dark Victoriana group, but is open to anyone that is interested.

For this swap you will make one paper doll that is garbed in Victorian mourning clothing. I would suggest that a mixed media doll (paper & cloth) would be the best way to go about this, but do whatever you feel is the most beautiful.

You can find templates for the paper dolls at The Enchanted Gallery. A google search on Victorian mourning clothes/dresses/garb should give you a good idea of what to do.

For extra cool factor, add something to the doll that was from the 'person' that you're mourning, like dried flower petals, a hair ornament, a piece of their clothing, etc.

Little bit of trivia: the sign up date is Queen Victoria's birthday, and the send by date is the date she assumed the crown. :P
