Description:

I LOVE die cuts. I have over 100 sets. Yet, I can't buy them all sadly - I would If I could! Most of them are from Tim Holtz and Sizzix, but I have others as well.

This is somewhat of a stuff the envie swap but I am adding a few things to it so that when the receiver gets the envelope, it is easy to determine what's what in the envelope.

SWAP INFO:

  1. For this swap you will select 5 die cut sets that are specifically Halloween related / themed.

You will cut one full set of each die out of WHITE cardstock, put each set into a clear bag of some sort (plastic zip baggie, greeting card sleeve, self adhesive packaging sleeves) as long as its clear and can be sealed up somehow, and fits into the envelope. When done, there should be 5 clear baggies with cut paper in them to mail out.

  1. LABEL each set with the name of the set and any other important info, such as the designer or company it comes from. If you think the set might be a bit difficult to piece together, include a link to where the receiver can see it put together. The label can be a sticky note on the bag, or a note inside - as long as its included the how doesn't matter so much.

A good example of this: For the Tim Holtz Colorize product line, Sizzix has a youtube series showing how to put the colorize dies together. The sender would include something like this: "Tim Holtz Harvey Colorize. Instructions for Assembly: Go to the Sizzix youtube channel, look for or search for the 'Harvey' colorize die set."

Simply writing down the youtube/webpage link is acceptable too. There are many ways to do this. Another way is to include instructions on assembly with the specific sets.

I am requiring that the publishing info for each set to be included in case your receiver LOVES the die set and wants to try and buy it for themselves. :)

  1. If you feel like being generous, you can send multiples of each set in its bag, but this is not required. Multiple sets can be cut out of colored cardstock if desired, only the first set must be in white. This way the receiver can color them in any colors and media type.

  2. I am restricting the ratings on this swap due to the nature of this swap. You must have a minimum rating of 4.98, NO 0's, at least 25 completed type 3 swaps, and any 1s MUST have been successfully resolved. I will be checking and removing anyone that does not meet these requirements.

  3. I will angel if anyone ghosts. Ghosting will result in banning, and I reserve the right to remove anyone at any time for any reason.

  4. Please make sure you include enough postage to send your envelope. These may end up being heavier / thicker than a normal letter so if you can't afford a higher postage, please reconsider joining.

  5. ONE FINAL NOTE: ANY commercial die cut brand is allowed - as long as it is LICENCED and LEGIT. Dies that are just from Amazon with no designer are allowed - but if you have any questions, please reach out to me. However, there is a known issue in the industry where certain super large online discount companies are counterfeiting and copying many brand name designer's products in the craft industry. Please do not use these for this swap. I don't support this practice in any way whatsoever.

Depending on response / sign up, this may end up being a reoccurring swap! Happy Swapping!
