What is string art? Punched holes are arranged into geometric shapes, thread connects the holes in straight lines to make cool patterns. They look complicated on the first view but the secret is to know in which way to connect the holes. Then it's quite easy! Simple Youtube tutorial example Another Youtube tutorial example For more patterns you can check out this Youtube channel about line art These are drawn patterns but they will work for string art too. Sew your string art by hand. Start with a background of your choice (an easy collage or mixed media background - nothing too distracting). Add your string art onto it. Please don't use plain paper for the background. As the postcard size is not that big, you better not pick a too complicated string art pattern. Postcard of at least 4 x 6 inch respectively DIN A6 (148 x 106 mm). Please use a sturdy backing. Due to all the long threads, send it in a clear cover sleeve. Have fun! Requirements:
