The zine theme is SENDER’S CHOICE. This means it can be any topic & doesn’t have to be specific to your swap partners likes nor dislikes. The swap is to get your creative juices flowing vs being limited to a lot of specifics. You will be making two (2) high quality colored copies of your original zine to mail out to your partners (1 copy to each partner).

How do I make a zine? The zine in this swap will be made into 8 pages using ONE 8.5” x 11” copier paper (A4 sized paper). Once you have made your original zine, please make TWO (2) high quality colored copies (not black & white copies).

Topic ideas for your zines. Please note that some of these topics can be construed as being offensive, so PLEASE make sure that you don’t make something that would offend your swap partner. Please DO NOT make your zines religious, political, or filled with advertisements.

You will have 2 weeks to make your zine from the sign up date to the mail out date. This will give everyone time to put some thought into their zines and put their best efforts into it vs putting it together haphazardly. Create something that you would be proud to share and also have for yourself. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO MAIL EXTRA GOODIES. A short letter is always welcome and adds a personal touch, but not required.

When rating your partner, please give them a 5 if they followed the swap as shown in the tutorial link above. Do not rate below a 5 because you don’t like the theme or color choices. Please be kind when rating. REMINDER Please reach out to your partner if you have any snafus vs posting mean comments below. It’s important to be understanding of one another and resolve privately. Remember this swap is to have fun.

This swap is open to all active U.S.A. participants & is NEWBIE FRIENDLY (All swappers that have completed 10 or more Type 2/Type 3 swaps). A completed profiles is required! Swappers with a rating of 4.0 and above without recent no-sends are welcome!
