Important Music After the 70's CD Mix

Ugh! Hopefully the 3rd time for this is the charm!

So, there's this song called "I Wish I was a Punk Rocker" that I don't like and my dad loves. We argue about one of the lines in the song that says "when music really mattered," implying that music stopped mattering after the 70's, which I don't agree with. My dad comes back with how music just isn't as important today as it used to be.

So we're here to prove him wrong. This is going to be a pretty tall order for a mix CD swap, but here are the rules.

Rules

-You're going to make 3 CDs for 3 partners, so a total of 9 CDs to be sent out to people consisting of 15-20 songs each.

-No more than 6 songs from any one artist. That's 2 songs per artist per CD maximum.

-Make sure the songs are from the 80's, 90's, or 2000's. The goals to prove that these are the songs that are important, after all.

-Make sure the songs are important. The great thing about this is that you get to define important as that's a very subjective term.

-The swap is international since I doubt CDs will be expensive to send even after the price rates increase.

Edit: - There seems to be some interesting contradictions running around the post office about this. Just to give a heads up, I sent a 7 oz. parcel from Washington State to Mississippi for just $2.15. Three CDs in paper sleeves won't weigh 7 oz. However, someone else who dropped the swap says she mailed three envelopes with 2 CDs in paper sleeves for almost 14 dollars. Obviously, these numbers don't match up. So getting into this swap is a bit of a "at your own risk" thing. I'll be mailing off another single CD somewhat soon, so I'll give an update after I do that.

-Ratings of 4.0 and higher please, though I'm willing to take those close as long as they message me about it.

-Two no-sends only allowed, please, unless you have a good reason or they were a long time ago and you've been better since.

-Newbies are welcome, but only with a reasonably filled profile. It doesn't take that much time, and yes, I get to determine reasonable.
