Description:

i'm not sure if this swap has been done before, but i really wanted to try this!

you will be sending a newspaper to your partner! when your partner is assigned, please look at where they live! if they are in the same country as you, please send them a newspaper local to your state or county etc, rather than a national one! if your partner lives in a different country to you, you can choose to send them a local or national paper.

i hope this will be really interesting! even if the paper you receive is in a language that you don't speak, i still think it will be fascinating to look through! or maybe that's just me :)

i don't think this swap will be too expensive either! some newspapers, especially daily ones are very cheap and some papers are not too thick, making them lighter to post!

i really hope this swap goes well!

i'm going to open this up to anyone with a rating of 4.8 or more and also to newbies with a well filled out profile!

enjoy!

I will keep an eye on this one. I live in Washington, DC. I am pretty sure the Washington Post is considered national but we have tons of interesting papers in circulation and many are free. Great idea for a swap:)

enchantability 07/11/2009 #

Do these have to be mainstream papers? I have many local papers in my area that are free but mainly entertainment based. Some even come in different languages. I can send three if that makes up for it not being mainstream.

jay 08/17/2009 #

that should be fine raeraethejetplane! :) i think it's ok to send any kind of paper, but one that has a mix of news, entertainment, advertising etc is best! :)

jay 08/18/2009 #
