Many of our parents still proudly display our first scribbles and misshapen ashtrays. The childhood crafts revisited series is about getting a second chance at the projects and examining the way we learned our artistic styles. Remember the pencil holder you made from a tin can? It was either covered in Elmer's glue and string, wrapped in construction paper, or for the very creative...Shoe polish and masking tape to get that faux leather look. Now that we're "grown ups", we can do better. Your task will be to create (1) one pencil holder from a tin can according to your partner's profile interests and send it to your (1) partner. Requirements:
Other thoughts (completely optional): It could be fun to include any or all of the following with your pen holder: A note about tin can pen/pencil holder memories. Photos of your first tin can pen/pencil holder. A note about how you made your tin can pen/pencil holder. A photo of a tin can pen/pencil holder given to you by a young person in your life. |
