Description: | |
World AIDS Day is celebrated every year worldwide on December 1st. AIDS has taken the lives of more than 25 million people since 1981 and more than 33 million people are living with HIV. In 2007 alone, 270,000 children worldwide passed away due to this pandemic. This is a 2 part swap about love, generosity, and fellowship for others. You will have 1 partner and will swap 1 Red Ribbon themed paper good/craft with your partner. That's the first part.... The first part of the swap covers the love and fellowship. Whether it be an ATC, bookmark, greeting card, postcard, matchbox, inchie, twinchie, zine, quotecard or any paper craft you enjoy creating and is your favorite craft, do it with love and pass it along to your assigned partner. Then comes the second part of this swap. This part requires your love, fellowship AND generosity. You will also donate to amFAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) any amount you wish/can afford to donate. Here are 2 links, one to donate online and one to donate by mail: Please DO NOT join this swap if you do not have any intention of fulfilling the donation portion of this swap. Quality of life is important whether a person is HIV positive or not. Your generosity touches mankind and your creativity touches your partner. |
