it would be hard for some people to send the same day the partners are issued as Mailmen have passed already. maybe put the deadline for the 20th then people will join.

I'm a newbie and I want to make sure I understand. It says weathered/naked. Which I thought meant blank or no writing. But, then I read write a quick hello. So, I'm a little confused.

'naked' typically refers to sending the postcard (or anything ELSE i'm learning!) by itself, no envelope or packaging.

they usually specify 'send 2 for your partner in an envelope, so they can use it' or similar if they will be like just-bought.

Thanks for pointing that out. @j3ss1ca - pioniwol is correct (thanks Pam for explaining it) In the postcard world "naked/weathered" means that you slap a stamp on it and send it through the mail as if you were sending it to a friend. Some people like to write something about the scene of the postcard, some about the kind of day they are having while others may only write Hello. It is entirely up to you what you write as long as it is not offensive. Any other questions or concerns, please ask. As you have found out, there are tons of nice people here to swap with!
