how long is 3 yards in meters?

Lexidh 10/26/2009 #

3 yards = 2,75 meters

babekha 10/27/2009 #

close to 9 feet.

Mialins 10/28/2009 #

so 3 meters and 3 buttons...

whiteway 10/28/2009 #

@Mialins - its actually 3 yards - not 3 metres. If you are sending in metres it would be about 2.75 metres in total!! And yes, 3 buttons!

babekha 10/28/2009 #

3 buttons doesn't seem very many for that amount of ribbon, I think I will probably include more :-) So it is ok to use my own stash of ribbons correct? Just as long as I have long(er) lengths? Or does it have to be 3 yards of the same piece of ribbon?

whiteway 10/28/2009 #

@babekha you are welcome to add more buttons if you like - I'm sure your partner won't mind! :)

As to the ribbon - you can send more than 1 type of ribbon - but no more than 3 - that mean your partner would receive at least 1 yard of 3 different types of ribbon.

I usually send one type of ribbon and that is always what I have received in the past 7 swaps.

Oh ya - and you can also use some from your stash as long as they are good quality ribbon(s)!

Just to verify, this is senders choice???

whiteway 10/29/2009 #

Yes, it is senders choice - but it is always nice to try and match your packaeges to your partner's profile! For example - if she hates pink and you send pink - you have met the requirements of the swap - but your partner will be disappointed! :)

i was just rounding it up... in Brazil they only sell by meter, .. so it would be 3meters..
