DIY or Store Bought Reusable/Recyclable Bag Swap

it would be so cool to get a reusable store bag from a store that isn't in my area

I live in Kentucky so there are so few stores I know I will get something I do not have. :-) I have bought a bunch of bags from local stores here (where I am visiting) and I will send one of those I think.

This will be my first Swap and I'm pretty excited about it :)

The partner I get, is pretty lucky. The shopping mall that I work at and the county where I live is having a campaign (sp?) about how to live more eco friendly. Part of their campaign is free reusable grocery bags in limited edition. I'll probably check out on Monday whether it's more left.

Hey, Y'all. I have been ordering from the rainforest site so I will be sending a canvas bag from there. I have a Whole Foods here if you would prefer a store bag from there. Great swap!!!

I love using my own shopping bags when I go to the store. I sometimes get odd looks from store staff when I decline paper or plastic, smile.... I just love all the variety canvas, burlap and vintage bags out there or which I have made for my self. I am so excited for this swap>>>>

As you may know by looking at my profile. I am very into the breast cancer awareness. I have purchased many recycleable bags from a local grocery store. It has the breast cancer ribbon and its decorated with butterflies and flowers...of course another one of my favorites. Again I purchased it from a grocery store which i think is nation wide but I hope this would work...i love purses, bags, hand bags etc....cant wait to see what i recieve. Jessica

Jessi2361- even if we are not swap partners, I would love to trade a bag for one of your breast cancer bags. I am loving this swap; I, too, get funny looks when I decline a plastic bag:) One of my fav stores is Kohl's and they always look at me like I have 2 heads when I shop with my bag and then give it to them for the purchases.

In Australia just about everyone is into the reusable bags so no-one gets funny looks! I have found one that is perfect for my handbag - compact and light weight and it comes in gorgeous colours so I'm off to buy one for my partner!

Yay I've sent my package off today during my lunch break!! I'm excited to receive mine :)
