Description:

Fabric YoYo's = a circle of fabric with the outer edge turned under and gathered

I love to use fabric YoYo's to embellish projects, to use as flowers on a quilt block, or connect just YoYo's to make a quilt top. How about you?

Summary: 2 partners each receiving:

--four RED print YoYo's (5" circle before gathering) --One new DMC embroidery floss (to accent the red print YoYo's) --4 accent buttons

YoYo's will be made from 5" circles (measured 5" before gathering). You will have 2 partners and send your partners each four RED YoYo's. You may make all the YoYo's from the same RED print fabric, or different RED prints, but they must all be 100% cotton quilting fabric, with RED as the dominant color.

I'd say if you sent extra unfinished 5" circles or additional YoYo's in any size for your partners, you'd deserve a heart.

I will anel this swap, but will publicize if you flake. Since this swap bill be a small package, it will be international.

If you'd like to get started on making YoYo's for future rounds, here is the list for the 12 months. Each month will have 4 YoYo's, plus (in accent colors), a new DMC floss and 4 buttons to each partner.

Feb 2010 = green print

March 2010 = pastel print (any pastel colors or prints)

I love YoYos too. They are so much fun to craft with and to the novice, look way more complicated than they really are. Hope we have lots of participants.

Greetings swappers! I am allowing several newbies into this swap and feel comfortable that they will do a good job. Please remember to contact me and your partners if you think you might be running into problems when meeting the requirements for this swap. I will angel, but hope there won't be the need. Enjoy! and Happy Swapping!

F.Y.I. I just received a message from JHO that she will be sending late because she is snowed-in in a different state than where she lives. She says she has the swap done, but can't mail it until she gets back home to her state.
