Description:

chocolate is one of my passios and i love to taste new ones. so i thought that would be fun to make an international chocolate swap. this is also the first swap i create!!!!! details: you will receive one swap partner in this swap and you have to send at least 3 different kind of chocolate, but you can send as many as chocolate you want!! update: karma2karmas had this idea: "you can also send chocolate candies rather than chocolates! Like chocolate jelly beans, taffy, or lollipops...just a suggestion!" you can be creative ;)

I don't know if you realize it or not, but with the weather as it is, the chocolate you send and the chocolate you receive will likely arrive melted.

This sort of swap would only make sense if it were kept to one hemisphere (like the southern hemisphere right now). Up here in the northern hemisphere it's mid-summer and temps are 100+ where I live.

Good idea but still to hot where I am to join.

I agree. Someone sent me chocolate in the candy swap even though we were advised not to and it was a melted and disgusting mess by the time I got it. It was still spring then, cant imagine what would happen this time of year. It hit 33' celcius here in Ontario today.

If you package the choco in a ziploc bag or some protective covering, it should be fine. Just make sure it's sealed. That way if it does melt along its journey, just put in the fridge or freezer and it'll be as good as new!

Also, when you mail it, tell the post office that there is chocolate inside, and they can stamp it as "perishable." I just mailed three chocolate items from Texas (!) to New York, and not one of them melted.

Oh my!!! This swap is MADE for me!!! I love dark chocolate.....oooooh...yes I will be in it. Should there be a $ value..as the chocolates I like and would send are pretty $$$.
