A Fabric Rose

This swap is for a homemade fabric rose. I've been daydreaming of making my own fabric roses for a little while now....I thought I'd use this swap to get me going :)

We will each have two partners, and we will make them one rose each. This is a great tutorial :

Or if this satin rose seems complicated, maybe a wool felted rose, or layers of tulle and satin, think of interesting centers....vintage button, vintage pearl, rhinestone button or broken jewelry. I'm getting ideas just talking about it!

I hope 2 flowers doesn't seem overwhelming, I just think it would be fun to receive 2 different people's version of a fabric rose! Let's leave them unattatched, so the new owner of your rose will find the perfect use for it in their life!

I'll set the send date off into January, get us thinking for Valentines day :)
