This is a US only swap. This is the August edition. Due to other obligations sign-ups end in July with send date being early August. This is the fourth round. Thanks to all those who have participated in the previous three for making them fun and pretty. Again, read the guidelines. This time we are not sending yarn to our partners but we are sending two to each of our two partners (you'll make 4 total dish/washcloths). If you love to make dishcloths or washcloths and just can't seem to stop collecting and trying various patterns, and if you just can't walk by the cotton yarn without touching it or, like me, buying at least one ball of it, then this swap is for you! Doesn't matter if you knit or crochet, both kinds are welcome. Each person will have two (2) partners. To each partner you will send: Two (2) handmade dishcloth/washcloth either knit or crochet, any pattern, any solid or variegated in any color except the following colors or shades of these colors: green, orange, red. If you are using variegated and one of these three colors is in the shade, as long as it is not the dominating color, it's ok. Any question, ask. One (1) pattern - this can be the one you use or a favorite you want to share. Try to find out if your partner knits, crochets or both and send a pattern they can USE. Nothing overly complicated or out of their craft. Someone who doesn't knit probably has no usage for a pattern that's for a knitter. Anything extra you want to inclue. Please do not ask for any particular pattern or color. Remember that if you don't like any of the items, you can always re-swap in a different swap later. Because you will have to shop and then make two dishcloths, and because they really aren't all that time consuming, you will have approximately two weeks from the time sign-ups end to send out your package. A minimum rating of 4.75 is required to join this swap. If you are a newbie, however, please contact me and we'll chat. Newbies are welcome with a completed profile but you must email me first.
