Thrift store profile surprise

i really want to join this swap, but i can't cause i have a "1" from someone who has "disapeared" from swap-bot and therefore never let me know whether or not they got my re-send. =(

I was waiting for a good thrift store swap! Yay!

I have decided to request that everyone who joins the swap give an indication of things they are interested in receiving from thrift stores, either in their profile in in this comment section. This way it will make it easier and more enjoyable for everybody!

I will start off. Things I like to find in thrift stores include: old maps, colourful scarves (the square ones), cute ornaments, old wrapping paper/greeting cards, colourful bottons, and unique hairclips or jewellery. I prefer older things rather than newer, made-in-china things.

ALSO, I have allowed a couple of people to join the swap who do not have perfect 5 ratings. I checked their profiles and feel they aren't likely to flake or anything. I hope this is okay with everyone!

I love to find old wooden boxes, vintage cards or valentines, vintage necklaces, vintage childrens books with colorful pages, dolies, unique coffee mugs, anything from my wish list. I am wondering though if I will be able to find something for 3.00. Our stores are just a little more pricey around here but I will look.

Things I wouldn't mind receiving: schnauzer figurines, vintage cat figurines, old cat paintings/drawings, parrot figurines, vintage valentine/christmas cards/postcards, flat tin cigar boxes, old keys (ok if rusty), old locks (ok if rusty), tags that go on dogs and cats collars like rabies, and ID tags, vintage cartoon tags and postcards, vintage papers, anything that can be used for collage/decoupage/atc making, colorful buttons, photos of animals and children, i have more listed on my profile page. =)

I like ANYTHING that has to do with Boston Terriers!! Trinkets, Knick knacks, Frames, Banks etc. I like costume jewelry (necklaces and bracelets) I love bunny rabbits- Knick Knacks, Frames, Trinkets etc.(not stuffed animals)
