Description:
In this monthly swap you will create an ATC based off of the purple possibilities of "PURPLE_______." Examples are: Deep Purple, Purple Persuasion, Purple Gurple, Purple Patch, Purple People Eater, The Color Purple... I "think" you get the idea. One "Purple" ATC to one partner. Standard ATC 2 1/2" X 3 1/2". Use an actual card or hard cardboard stock ; nothing flimsy. Newbies are allowed (with very complete profiles). Members must have at least a 4.8 (with no recent no sends or disconcerting "3" tallies). Also you must not be a non-rater, as manners really do matter. I will be vigilant in discerning who makes a good swapper & final decision is mine. Note that I do "angel" my own swaps, so if you do not receive, please rate your flaker appropriately & let me know & I will angel out to you right away. I will put up the next couple swaps in this series and you can look them up under my profile under 'swaps I am hosting.'

how can you tell if someone is a non rater? I host swaps and that is one thing I really find lacking is if someone doesnt have the decency to thank someone for the card that is sent. Is there an easy way or do you have to search someplace in particular?

Well there is a Non-Raters Group you can belong to (like the flakers group) where people list who has failed to rate them. I do check there firstly.

I recently received a very lovely black colored ATC for my Black_____ATC Swap. So there is no misunderstandings on this one, let me say that the card must reflact an idea, or image that brings the word "PURPLE" to mind, but not necessarily be purple in color. If you did an image of an actor from The Color Purple - I wouldn't expect them to be purple, just that they were from the movie of that name. Likewise Karen Black would not be, well, black. Please keep in mind it is the concept of the wordcrafting that you will make your ATCs from not simply the color. If we were doing Grey, I wouldn't expect Dorian Grey to be Grey. If this isn't clear, nor is the explanation above, feel free to let me know.
