Make your partners a FABRIC ATC. Your choice of design.

The ATC must be made out of fabric and it must be stiff. SO the best way of making sure it is stiff enough, is to sandwich, either card stock or better yet and piece os plastic needlepoint canvas between the front and back pieces of fabric. You can choose any medium, embellishments, style, painting, mixed media,. Add charms...or buttons....make it fun!

Everyone will make 1 ATCs for 2 separate artists. 2 ATC total.

Please no OLD ATCs. Please make sure you are giving something you would like to receive. Put your heart into these ATC's. All ATC's should be 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".

Participants must have a 4.8 or higher and No no-sends ever. Please do your best work, remember they are going to be part of someones collection.

love it! Does it need to be entirely fabric or would (eg) a fabric base with accents work?

So fabric front and back? Not just the front?

SuzeesCrafty 03/10/2010 #

zilliah - yes you can embellish it any way you like...but the ATC has to be fabric.

ollie - Yes front and back. You could have fabric on the front and felt on the back..that would be ok..

But everyone...if you use felt on the back...PLEASE do NOT use glue...the felt will look horrible with glue marks. Thanks...questions are always welcome! ENJOY

Just to "chime" in here... a great way to put together a fabric ATC is by using the directions for making fabric postcards.

A great and simple tutorial can be found here with lots of pictures... http://debrichardson.blogspot.com/2005/09/how-to-make-fabric-postcard-debr-style.html

You can use Peltex for the middle/batting part and fuse it all together.

I just completed one of the ones for this trade. You can see it on my blog (via my profile) if you want a peek.
