Description:

This is a simple swap- Send 3 seed packets to your partner! The catch: 1-vegetable, 1-flower, 1-wildcard! can be something fun like gourd, giant or white pumpkin, neat sunflower, use your imagination. You can wrap them simply, but it is a good idea if you are sending "bigger" seeds to put a little bubble wrap around them so they don't get mashed. You might want to put them in a baggie, to keep them dry.

It would be nice to see where your partner lives

before mailing- for example, beets are not real easy to grow in the deep south, and lima beans may not be the best for the North. On the other hand, it is not a swap requirement to check the USDA zone map before you send!

The only requirement: 1 vegetable seed packet, 1 flower seed packet, 1-sender's choice with the requirement of it should be something different or interesting. If this is met, it is a rating of five. The heart is up to the rater!

I will check profiles and ban any questionable ones, a 4.5 rating or higher please. Newbies welcome with a filled-out profile. Please don't join if you won't follow through. I cannot angel very many of these so please follow through.

I don't know why the text did that up there- the requirements were: 3 packets- 1vegetable, 1flower, 1anything neat or interesting- like teddybear sunflower, gourds, indian corn, mini or different colored pumpkins, etc. and newbies welcome with a filled out profile, I can angel a few but not many so please join only if you are going to send. It is nice to check where your partner lives and try to get the seed close for their area, but not a requirement. You can go to any seed catalouge or gardening book and get a usda zone map to see. Let's grow something beautiful!

Do we have to know exact name of the plant? Like I have some wonderful winter squash seeds(from my friend's mother-in-law garden) and soup from it is so smooth and delicious, but I don't know exact name.

I don't think so, Saulute, as long as it is labeled "winter squash" it should be fine. Of course you would be welcome to describe it(big or small, color, etc maybe how you like to use it) in place of a description on a seed packet. And you don't have to, but there are some neat printable seed packets on tipnut.com, just search for seed packets.
