Broke Folks International Postage Control Swap #1

• Edit: Because this is the first International Broke Folks swap, @darbyflats and I decided to make a few changes to encourage more people to sign up. The number of partners has been changed from 5 to 2. Also, newbies are welcome with at LEAST 3 mailed swaps. I will be checking profiles VERY carefully since I'm new myself. I want this to be a flaker FREE swap!

• Edit: It was brought to my attention the comment section that to send a one ounce envie overseas (at least to Europe), it will cost 98 cents, and will take multiple stamps. That's OK as long as the envie is one ounce or less!

With permission and a great amount of faith from @darbyflats I will be hosting the Broke Folks swaps USA & adding a Broke Folks International Swap. She will be working with me for the first round that I host, so please please please be nice!

This swap is intended to control postage costs, with people who understand that we can't turn every swap into a package that costs $5 to send (not to mention the content value!)

Choose items that your partner would like based on their profile that fit in an envelope and use only one stamp (44 cents). * The conversion is most likely different for other countries, so the best way for me to describe it is this way. Whatever the standard mailing price/weight is, that's what you need to try to stick with. Anything that is considered "extra" postage means it's too heavy.

GET AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN TO ONE OUNCE!! One ounce = 28.57 grams or .028 kilos

If you receive a package of any kind, using one stamp, you MUST rate a 5. This means that even if you don't receive something off of your Wish List, a 5 is still an appropriate rating.

How creative can you be with a one ounce weight limit?! Will it be postcards, stickers, stamps, notecards, fabric, embellishments, etc.?

The best part about this swap is it gives you lots of goodies to look forward to when your mail person arrives. AND it's inexpensive to send!

DUE TO RECENT REQUESTS: Please note that the point of this swap is to get a much as you can into a one-stamp envie. One postcard is not enough. Try to get it as close to one full ounce as you can, without going over and requiring another stamp! Please send me a message if you have any questions.
