For those who are looking for a fast, inexpensive swap for a seasonal treat, this one's for you! We will swap one or more Easter sweets, costing approximately $1 total, with one partner.
The mailing deadline is the Friday before Easter, so please plan accordingly if postal service in your country doesn't run on Good Friday. Our Eastery sweets will arrive after Easter, just about the time that our own Easter basket treats have been eaten. ;-)
We will:
Send one or more Easter sweets (chocolates, marshmallows, mini cakes, cookies, jelly beans, hard candies, etc.) with a minimum value of $1 to your one partner. In the US, there are a lot of Easter candies that are 2/$1. Be sure you send enough to meet the minimum, please.
This swap is sender's choice, so you can start buying your sweets now in order to be prepared to mail shortly after partners are assigned on Sunday.
Include a nice note to your partner, something more than just your user name and swap title, please!
Although this is a low value swap, please still package this one carefully. Lots of Easter treats will be squished or broken if mailed only in a bubble mailer. Please use care so this is a nice swap for everyone. :-)
The usual rules also apply:
Send foods in commercially sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Be sure to check expiration dates before sending.
Be courteous by sending our swaps on time and rating our partners when we receive. In the rare circumstance that you must be late, it is expected that you will contact both your partner and the swap host before the mailing deadline.
Package your swap appropriately to protect the contents. Zip-top baggies are smart for containing unexpected breaks and leaks. Boxes rather than envelopes should be used for fragile items. For example, chips, crackers, and cookies are all easily broken if not sent in a box. Semi-liquid, jarred items often pop their seals and leak in transit. Glass jars should be carefully wrapped and boxed. Even powdered things such as hot chocolate or sauce mixes can make a mess; so please put these in a plastic baggie or something similar to protect your package. We all appreciate the efforts taken to keep our swaps enjoyable!
