Description:

Per our discussions in the forum:

We would have 1-2 weeks to get our fabric, instructions (including the size of the blocks we want to receive), and ship them to the other two. The sender would provide some of the fabric, but the block makers would also be able to add some coordinates from their own stash.

The block maker would create four blocks per the sender's instructions. Therefore the block maker would create eight blocks total - four for each of the other two. The sender would then have the option of making the quilt with eight blocks or adding some of their own to make a bigger quilt.

The block maker will have six weeks to complete the blocks and send them back to the original person.

We have a group flickr pool here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1374918@N20/

edited the swap - so we could see the addresses now :)

I'm planning on going to the quilt shop on Saturday and hopefully will post the same day.

There are lots of ideas for blocks/instructions here: Quilting Bee Blocks

I had already (pretty much) decided my block - the spiderweb and that I would use a bright electric blue solid for the background fabric - What a coincidence to go the the Quilting Bee Blocks website and see one there! I'm still playing a bit with the layout though, I'll probably cut stuff out this weekend and mail early next week. This is going to be fun........

Of course, there's that black and white quilt that I've been saving fabrics for..... (Decisions, decisions, decisions) :-)

Ooohhh.. the spiderweb is so neat! I've never made one, but the results are really eye-catching.

I keep waffling on what pattern. It's like every new design I see, I love and want to try. Lol! I will have to get it together and stop being so indecisive!

I'm still dithering like mad, too....
