Is this a mini recorder tape? Or a regular sized tape?

This sounds lots of fun, but I'm afraid I don't have any access to tapes, or even a tape player in my house or car. If there's ever one for a burned cd, I'd love to join. I can record my voice into my husband's mac pretty easily.

What about digital voice recorders? --you can transfer the recordings to a computer/cd. Would it be okay to mail a cd instead?

I was talking about a regular size tape.

How many people would like to burn Cd's instead?

I did one of these a few months ago and was flaked on by my partner and never heard back from my sending partner. To their credit, though, they both had a lot going on at the time. So I've got the equipment and left over tapes (which you can buy at office supply stores, or thrift stores-- you can even tape over the ones that aren't blank by sticking a wad of paper or something into the hole at the top!) so I'll give this another go. It was awkward at first, but ended up being a lot of fun, once I got used to talking to "myself".

Man, I'd love to do this.. but, money is soooo tight. an electronic version of this swap would be awesome! Easy to do, just record and upload. Quicker response and what not. If anyone decides to do an electronic version of this swap, please let me know! lol.

If it's okay with the organizer, I'm up for hosting a digital version of this... next month probably. We could use Sendspace.com to send the files. I think I'd like to have some questions to answer submitted by the swap members though, in case we run out of things to say. :)
