for this swap we will be embroidering one piece of work for one partner. it must be underwater/ocean related, mermaids, mermen, sea cucumbers, the lock ness monster...the subject is sender's choice and must be at least 4in x 4in. please take your time and create something you'd like to receive! no no-sends or unexplained 1's or 3's, i'll be checking profiles. obviously no-flaking! but i will angel if necessary! this is beginner friendly for those of you who want to give embroidery a shot! get your stitch on! *to give credit where credit is due: the picture above is not my work, i found it at: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3154/2949342626_786982ce44.jpg

oh, i hope you do, it's like drawing with thread! you should definitely give it a try, i think i should add it's beginner friendly :)

Sounds like so much fun! And I looked up some cool patterns! I have to see if I will have the time! I really hope I do. If not, you definately have to host this again so i can do that one!! =P

I hope I'll be able to join this one as well! I actually started a fabric book with 5x5" pages that an online friend helped me to start. She was so inspiring to me! The underwater scene she made is stunning! Would love to be inspired again and stitch something pretty for someone. Here's hoping everything will go smoothly in life so I can join! And I need to find some patterns. So, I'm off to do a little surfing to see what I can find.
