Description:

Next trim tag in a series: Pink & Turquoise (note: any shades of pink are acceptable including fuschia. Adding white, black, gold, silver or cream as an accent are acceptable also, but the main colors should be pink and turquoise)

Inspiration trim tags are so fun to receive, but even more fun to make! The possibilities are just endless. This swap will be for one (1) partner, creating (1) tag. Very easy, very fun! Most of these items you probably already have on hand.

Directions:

Use a large sized paper tag (heavy cardstock or double up on scrapbooking or other paper) and wrap trim (ribbons, fibers, vintage seam binding, baker's twine or lace) around it. Next, tuck in some pink & turquoise inspirational goodies between the trim. (Your goodies should be peeking out of the trim) The "goodies" should be craft supplies that will come in handy for your partner, inspiring them to make their next project.

Some examples of goodies...

  • (Vintage) buttons
  • small images
  • Millinery flowers, prima flowers, etc.
  • Gem stones
  • small packet of glitter
  • chipboard piece
  • tied up piece of ribbon
  • yo-yos
  • small tags
  • small game pieces (Scrabble letters, etc.)
  • nice piece of lace
  • charms, pendants, etc. Think embellishments, think mini!

*Please note, tags can be tea stained, stamped, decorated, altered, whatever.

Rules:

  • (1) one swap partner, sending (1) one tag.
  • This is sender's choice
  • Please send something you would be proud of
  • Send by deadline, July 22
  • This is a second tag in a series of inspiration trim tags.

I'm excited, I already started on mine!

what size is a "large sized paper tag ". no reference as for size.

Like a typical shipping tag. Mine is 6 inches by 3 1/4 inches. I would figure about the length of your hand, give or take an inch or so. Just a guide though.
