Beginning of August, what did you do? email swap

This is an easy email swap. Tell your partners what you did at the beginning of this month. Long, short, detailed, vague, as a list, in verse, special occasion, boredom, let us know anything you did in the first day or week of AUGUST 2010.

Just a quick note of what's happening here as an example:

Because we are the first to see the new day here in New Zealand it is aready the 1st of August and I am currently listening to a very large mouse in the ceiling, not really it is my son re modeling his model railway. Any second 100s of tiny people may come crashing through the roof.
