International swap. The good part about being an adult is getting to eat chocolate cake for breakfast. The bad part is that you have to do the dishes after! I like laundry and don't mind washing dishes, but I hate washing floors. I've often wished I could swap chores with someone. Well, I can't do that, but I can help share the joy of my favourite chores, and maybe get inspired in return. For this swap, you will have one partner. Write your partner a letter (one page is fine) about why you like a certain chore. Include something to help your partner with doing that chore at their home, such as a favourite type of scrubbing brush, a knit or crochet dish cloth, a fun cleaning gadget, a fun kitchen tool, or whatever else you can come up with. It is great to send a homemade item or a purchased one. Let's not go too wild - only spend about $5 before shipping - but send something usable that'll make a chore easier or more fun. No preferences for this one: this is about your favourite chore, so it doesn't matter if your partner loves it or hates it, or doesn't have to do it. Newbies are welcome with filled out profiles and working email addresses. I will be checking both before assigning partners. Rated swappers must have at least a 4.5 rating to join. I reserve the right to ban anyone I feel might not send. |
