Who loves chocolate? WE DO!

In fact guys please leave allergies here so it's easier for everyone!

I am allergic to whole nuts (nut trace is fine, but no whole nuts or peanut butter!) and I am allergic to honeymelon... I've never encountered honeymelon in chocolate before but just incase!

Our summer is still going very strong, so I will have to sit this one out... if you do another one in November or so, I will join!!

Watching for a bit but I intend to join. No allergies, but I am ovo-lacto vegetarian, which means I eat dairy and egg, but nothing "dead" eg meat, fish etc. There's a list at the top of my profile of things I can't eat that are found in candies.

Is it $2/£1 per bar, or total?

Oh I LOVE chocolate, especially dark. I don't have any allergies but I don't like peanut butter.

I would do this, but heres somethign I dont think anyones thinking of...........its a HOT summer, by the time you get it in the mail, its going to be a pudle of choclate, instead of a bar.

I love all types of dark chocolate, and chocolate with nuts, almods and raisin. No peanut butter. In Italy it is still a little bit Hot temperature, wrap the bar in alluminium sheets.

@BBQ if you read the swap properly, you will see that the host has already addressed your concern. Late August is no longer any kind of hot summer in many places. If it's too hot for chocolate where you are, then don't join, problem solved. I'm sure there will be other chocolate swaps in both fall and winter. I for one absolutely love chocolate and summer swiftly fading here, so I'm putting this on my watchlist. :-)

It's not hot in the UK anymore :( so I'll watch for now.

It's never been too hot in Wales lol. It's just been a torrential downpour the whole time here. People are going out in scarfs and using their central heating! If you get me, your chocolate will be more at risk of freezing than melting LOL.

As previously mentioned, the summer is well and truly over in the UK! I made this an international swap as I know many other places are no longer experiencing hot weather either. Don't worry, I'll hold a lot more swaps like this when it's cold for a lot more people!

@camelsamba it is $2/£1 altogether for the two chocolate bars, this is a minimum requirement and does not include the price of shipping.

I dont want any chocolate with peanut butter, liquorice or alcohol, and I don't like dark chocolate. I love red fruits, caramel and nuts (any kind)!

My preference is dark chocolate with 65% or more cocoa in it. I also enjoy cocoa nibs, nuts or a cream filling (such as hazelnut, marzipan or ganache), BUT NO FRUIT OR FRUIT FLAVORS.

too bad West Texas temps are still over the 100s or I'd join!

Sorry guys, but you aren't allowed to give preferences in this swap! It's sender's choice, the only thing you have a say in is things you are allergic to.

If it wasn't sender's choice then there'd be no point in writing a letter, as all it would say is "I bought this bar because, well, you told me to".

If you're not allergic to it then there's every chance you might receive it!

Thanks for the clarification. Since "cheap' (mainstream - Hershey's and what not) candy bars in the US run around 75 cents in convenience stores, I wasn't sure! Even with uncertain weather, I'll risk it - hopefully I'll get an international partner, one who loves to send things like Violet Crumble / honeycomb bars. :^)

I don't like peanuts, and dark chocolate. :) But I like almond!

@saralizzy1981 Don't worry, it might be sender's choice but they're still not allowed to send cheap chocolate, so rate accordingly!
