Description:

If you were in the last round of swaps, cool–send along the book you received. If you’re joining for the first time, pick out a book you liked, hard cover or paperback, but intact (both covers and all pages complete!) and send it to your partner.

IMPORTANT! Please put a card or paper on the front inside cover so each reader can add her name. You can use a post-it if you don’t want to tape or glue. Some swappers have been putting address labels in so we can see where they’re from too. If you don’t want to do that, please just put your name and location.

It’d be fun to register these books at Bookcrossing, a website for exchanging and passing along books. You can add a review there and keep track of where your book travels. Check it out at www.bookcrossing.com It’s free and fun! If you receive a bookcrossing book, please register it. You don't need to join to do that.

Don't worry about checking partner's reading preferences. In this swap, the idea is to try reading something different. Who knows, you might find a new favorite genre or author! If your new partner has already read your current book (check the list in the front!), please just send a different one from your collection and keep the other book for the next month and a different partner.

USA only to keep expenses lower. Feel free to start an international one if you like!

Please pm before you rate someone down if you haven't received your book. Please let your partner (and me!) know if you're going to be late sending!

I hate to have to add this, but we've had some flakers, so no Newbies (fewer than 5 package swaps), and you must have at least a 4.5 with NO no sends in the past year. If you're a newbie or someone trying to claw their way back from a bad spell, please pm me and I'll set up a private swap for us. I will ban anyone who hasn't been online within a week of the deadline or who has recent late or no-sends.

Have fun. Happy book swapping and reading!

It makes me sad that u are not allowing newbies with less then 5 package swaps :( I am new to swap bot but was a long time user of swaptree.com I enjoyed the book swapping ever so much but that website got to hard to use and such but this is a good idea keep doing these and I will be back in the furture to swap :)

Hi newbies! Message from me, the swap host: Please don't worry; you are not forgotten! :)

I am not the original founder of the swap, so I didn't make the rules. Unfortunately, it often seems that the faults of a few must create unfairness for the many.

But... I would love to private book swap with any newbies who are interested but don't meet the requirements yet! Please don't just run away sad... message me and I'll get you hooked up!

Also, the swap happens every month, so please feel free to join up next month if you have 5 package swaps under your belt by then.

We love newbies; we all had to start somewhere! Don't worry, be happy! :) :) :)

I would also be willing to consider a private newbie swap on this. Obviously the book wouldn't be one that's been passed around and around but I have some I can pass on if someone would like.

The book is all registered at bookcrossing.com and is now on it's way to my partner! I hope you like it! :o)

I registered my book also, this is pretty neat. I kinda like the idea that I may be able to see where it goes and what others think of it.
