Description:
Because of popular demand, and because I love this idea, here is the international version. Hope we get many swappers! I love, love, love reusable bags. I keep them in my car for every shopping trip and I always have a few bags floating around the house at any given time. I saw this swap a while ago but I feel we need another reusable bag swap now. For this swap you will have two (2) partners whom you shall send one (1) new, reusable bag. Bags can be found at most grocery chain locations or any other shopping location. This should be a fun and low pressure swap. Newbies are allowed with a well filled out profile and no recent 1's or 3's please. Message me with any questions or comments. I reserve the right to ban anyone from the swap. Have fun and happy swapping!

Would it be acceptable to send hand made reusable bags? Most of the store bought ones can not be washed or bleached, so if meat juices leak into the bag, they can breed bacteria.

It does say 'NEW reusable bag'.... but is it just that you don't want to use a store-made one at all? Unless the swap host specifies, you might not get a handmade one in return... :) Just a thought!

I think handmade would be ok IF it is a really good quality bag and comparable in size to a normal store bought bag. Nothing super small please! Also, please note that most people will probably buy their bags so do not rate your partner down for sending a store bought bag. Just want to make this fair for everyone. Otherwise I think a new, handmade reusable bag will be fine.

Is it fair to ask to not send national chain store bags if your partner lives in the same country/region...since we could easily obtain those from down the street if we wanted them. May be a no-brainer comment, but thought I'd throw it out there.

@mega4beth I think it is not fair because the point of the swap is to be low pressure. Not every person has access to many options for bags but still wants to participate. I hope you still want to swap though!
