So, this is my first swap but I had this idea today and I thought that it would be a really fun and easy one! I love all the email music swaps around here and try to participate in all of them! I even have some new favorites from those swaps! Well, this one should be interesting....I want you to share your favorite songs from the year YOU were born. If you do not know/have favorites from the year you were born you can always just do the top 20 of the year. I hope you do have some favorites or at least find some groovy tunes you've never heard of before! I was looking up the year I was born and there are some great (and funny) songs listed! Remember, just have fun with it! In order to get a variety of years I'm going to make this 5 partners and I hope we have a lot of people participate! When you make your list trying finding the songs on mixpod or playlist.com and attaching that (or a link to each song on youtube) and attach it to your email so your partner can hear your lovely selection! Please rate your partners and be fair-don't rate down just because you didn't like the music, if you receive your swap, please rate appropriately! Alright, now, then let's get to swappin'!

Now can it be just our favorite part of the song or does it have to be the whole song?

Well, I would say it would be nice to have the whole song since hopefully people will include a mixpod/playlist link...but if you want to say what your favorite part of the song is in the listing that would be great as well! I hope that helps! :)

I'm sorry I should've said that up there! I think 20 songs is a good mix...but if you want to add more that's fine! I usually end up going overboard because I want to share all my favorites! :)

@mandaface Yay! I'm glad you joined. I think this is going to be really fun. I'm in the song lyric journal swap and one of my entries was from my favorite song from the year I was born and then my favorite song from the year my swap partner was born. I just thought that would be a great thing for a swap...plus, I love to know what people are listening to!

Ok so we just make a list of the 20 songs we like from the year we were born, and try to include the links to the songs so people can share. We don't have to include the lyrics, cause that would be a long email lol

@namastewolf you're correct! And yes that would be a LOOOOONG email if you included the lyrics as well! :) Just try to include the links to as many songs as you can (or if you have access to mixpod or playlist.com that works as well! That's what I will be using!)
