Description: | |
This will be like a weekly pen pal swap using postcards instead of letters. For October/November, you get one partner's name, and another member will get your name. So you will each have those two partners through November, or forever, if you like. How the swap will work Beginning October 6, write the partner who you send to a postcard. Include your address on your first postcard (or stick your address label), that way your partner will get your address so they can write back to you on the 2nd Wednesday. Then, beginning October 13, you will send both partners (sending & receiving) a postcard each Wednesday through November 24. You will send each of your partners a card every Wednesday. You can tell them about your day’s activities, what you are reading, making, swapping, cooking, just your regular Wednesday life. As you start getting to know your partners, you can also respond to what they have written, too, or ask questions about something they wrote that you would like to know more about, as you do with the other people in your life. We are your Wednesday friends. You will be able to get to know your partners better, as you will be writing to the same partners each week. You may decide that you want to write them every Wednesday till the end of the year, or beyond. Or you may decide to say good-bye, thank you, that was fun. Both are acceptable. To sum up, You will send your initial partner a card on the first Wednesday (10/6), then starting the 2nd Wednesday (10/13) you will send out 2 postcards to both your sending & receiving partners (and every Wednesday until November 24). Finally, Please read your partners’ profiles. Try to find cards they will like, and share with them your favorites, too. Happy Wednesday, Everyone! |
