Description:

I've been in a couple of swaps using this theme hosted by Vidriosa. I've tried contacting her to see if she is hosting one this year but haven't heard anything back so decided to host one myself.

For this swap you will create 1 ''Day of the Dead'' inspired ornament for 3 partners, thus a total of 3 ornaments are required for this swap.

This is a Handmade Tree Ornament Swap to be inspired by the Mexican festival of ''Day of The Dead''. So think sugar skulls, La Catrina, Posada etc. The ornament can be created using whatever medium you specialize in but please make sure that it is durable. Add beads, sequins, flowers, rhinestones, and sparkly stuff to adorn your ornament.

Size wise I would say make something between 3''- 4'' in height.

Please create a beautiful ''Day of the Dead'' inspired tree ornament that you would love to display yourself. Make it durable so it will last for years to come and also, as it is a tree ornament do not forget to add ribbon etc to hang it from.

Remember to pack your ornament well so that it does not get damaged in the post.

Serious swappers only please as I am not able to angel this swap. You must have a 4.9 rating or higher to join. I will check profiles thoroughly before assigning partners and ban any suspicious swappers.

For more information or inspiration google ''Day of the Dead'' or ''Dia de los Muertos'' and checkout artwork on flickr and etsy.

Any questions please feel free to ask.
