Description:

I have saw some other swaps like this and wanted to join, but feel more comfortable in my group, so I am going to see if anyone else might like this too. Go to this sight and choose any 3 Holidays from January and there are many to pick from, has monthly and daily so choose any 3 from any list. and send something to your partner that has to do with the 3 you picked. Make sure you pick 3 separate ones.Make sure you tell them what Holiday each item is for. Click below to check out the Holidays to choose from. Also make sure to put what you may be allergic to or may not like. other then that its senders choice. 1 of your items can be 3 recipes, but that will count for 1 item on blank recipes card or index cards. the other 2 things must be items as it would suck someone sending a item package and only getting recipes.

January Edibles

National Oatmeal month

National Hot tea month

National Soup month

National Bread Machine Baking Month and National Wheat Bread Month.

I also found this sight in case that is not enough Edible stuff to pick from.

January Edibles more

Apples and Apricot month.

California dried plum digestive month.

Artichoke and Asparagus month

Tubers and dried fruit month

So anything in packets,(cocoa, oatmeal, tea) make sure to send 2 and it is considered 1 item.

Beside all above it also has something for each day you can pick from and you can click on the link below to see the list.

Rules...

No recent 1s

No excessive amounts of 3s, your partner would like their package on time.

Fully filled out profile ( as some people like to check your profile and try to get something that you would like.)

Please, when you get your swap, rate your partner, You cannot rate down if you do not like it. (Hence the filled out profile)

Remember, International takes longer, so give it time.

If you do not receive, please communicate with your partner and your host. If you can not communicate with your partner and host at all and just go ahead and give them a 1 without trying, You will not be in anymore of my swaps, without giving your partner a chance to resend. Mail gets lost or takes longer if its International. Give a person a chance to respond, If not, There is no need to be swapping as you are bringing down ratings on a person that may not be a flaker because you decided not to communicate.Think about it,you wouldn't want this to happen to you.

Will check everyone for recent 1s or if behind on other swaps, before I assign partners.

I hope everyone has a good time with this and no one gets flaked on. ~Happy Swapping~ Cole

So it means we have to choose 3 January holidays from the link, and send 3 individual food items to represent the 3 holiday, am I right? Just want to get things straight ;)

I have/would like a few questions/clarifications.

  1. You are calling this a Type 3-Package swap. In your description, you talk about sending "items," but then you also say, "senders choice. you can send recipes or items its up to you." Personally, I like doing edible swaps, but would hate to put together a nice package of items and then receive a flat envelope of recipes.

  2. It would also be helpful to put a minimum monetary value on the swap. People could then figure out their own currency conversion.

Just my two cents. Watching for now.

Yes @kikilala that is right like popcorn day, you could send popcorn,etc...

I have revamped it, please read carefully the ones that already joined as I'm considering 3 recipes on blank cards as 1 item and the rest of package must be items stuff.

On monetary value I'm not putting as no one ever gets close to what their suppose to of the value of the package and there is a lot like me, that kinda shy's away from money swaps.

Make sure you read directions as I have put that anything in a packet you must send 2 packets and it is considered 1 item.

I don't like tea, so I would be most grateful if my partner were not to send tea, please :-)
Also, I prefer more healthy (not too high calorie/fat, etc) / natural foods, but I'm sure I shall be able to find someone who likes whatever is sent, as I'm aware this is fairly picky/specific.. thank you for reading! :-D

p.s. unfortunately, I don't have a breadmaking machine either..just thought I'd add that! ^_^
