Description:

I know there are Magic the Gathering players here, because I run a group devoted to the game! (Hint, it's the swap homepage!)

I thought it would be fun to set up a magic card swap. I know I have a ton of cards I am never, ever going to use and would prefer some variety. I can't be the only one!

All magic the gathering cards sent must be in good condition. Not necessarily brand new, but good. You must send at least 5 magic the gathering cards, with at least one being a rare or an uncommon.

When you join, comment here with several (7+) types of cards you collect or use (e.g., a creature type, a color, a specific ability, etc.) Please don't make it too specific or inherently expensive. The idea is for your partner to be able to grab cards for you out of their own stash.

You will send cards according to your partner's requests. If you feel that you can't choose 5 cards fitting their theme, you can message them to hash it out. This should not be inordinately difficult.

The rating limit is 4.8. I will weed out swappers with recent questionable ratings. If you are worried, PM me to explain your ratings.

This sounds fun! I like the mostly-random nature of the swap...it's like buying a booster! :D

I usually do my trading here: http://www.essentialmagic.com//em2/trading/

It's very efficient and safe as far as I've experienced....but does lack a certain mystery :D

here is a link to their trading forum....maybe you could find some swap-bot converts here?

Hello! I've not played Magic for a while but I think this swap may get me back to it. I still have all my cards so hopefully I can get some fresh cards in my stash for some inspiration.

My card type preferences are

*Cards that deal damage directly to the player or creature, any colour but preferably Red *Spiders *Insects *Hybrid colour creatures (where all the coloured casting cost is a choice of colours) *Artifact creatures *Newer cards, I haven't played for a while so I haven't seen many cards since Shards of Alara/bits of Conflux *Enchantments, any colour but preferably not blue.

I'm the son of pickleme and I think Magic is really exciting. I have extras of a few colors/variety of cards. My only deck is red and blue so that limits the options to what I can use but here's my list. creatures with flying or unblockable, volcanic/lava direct damage cards, counter target spell/creature spells, view your top card(s spell, gain life spells, creatures stronger than 4/4, giant or cyclops creature, under water blue creatures like eels octopuses.
