International Swap

As I'm sure you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is a devastating disease that affects hundreds of thousands of women each year, and each one of us women has one and eight chance of developing breast cancer at some point in our lifetime.

The good news is, these numbers on on the decline, due to earlier detection and increased awareness, as well as improved treatment. There are several foundations in existence which make it so easy to give, and by doing something as simple as shopping!

For this swap, you will have one partner, and you will send to them a minimum of four store-bought items. The only guideline is that each of these items needs to be labeled as a benefactor of breast cancer. If it matters to you, do a little research, because some companies donate much more per purchase than others. However, this is not a requirement.

I have seen tons of items already this year ~ pink M&Ms, socks, DVDs for the cure, makeup bags, makeup items, snacks, accesories, you name it, I bet you can find it. The sky is the limit on this one!

What could be better than combining shopping with helping out a great cause ~ not to mention sending a present to someone?!

Anyone with a rating of 4.5 or higher is welcome, and newbies are as well. I will use my discretion in reading profiles.

Happy Swapping!

I like this idea; any price min/max?

I'm so in. I love buying this type of stuff, and this answers the question of what to do with it once I've bought it. Hi-ho, debit card, away!

Exactly ~ I always think, well, I wouldn't normally buy it for myself........ But if it's for someone else.........
