Hot Cocoa for a Cold Day
Swap Coordinator:bruxbaby (contact)
Swap categories: Food  Miscellaneous  Newbie
Number of people in swap:23
Location:Regional - United States ONLY
Type:Type 2: Flat mail
Last day to signup/drop:December 11, 2010
Date items must be sent by:December 18, 2010
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

You will send 2 packets of hot cocoa mix (hot chocolate) to 1 partner. You must purchase 2 different flavors of the hot cocoa mix that is sold in individual packets. Buying a box of Swiss Miss and sending 2 packets out of the box is not acceptable.

This swap is sender's choice, but please review your partner's profile just to make sure you don't send them something they would not like. For instance, you might find peppermint cocoa, but your partner might not like peppermint.

Important: please reinforce your envelope to keep it and the contents from being destroyed.

PLEASE READ: YOU MUST BE RATED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS SWAP. YOU WILL BE BANNED IF YOU HAVE NOT YET BEEN RATED.

In order to participate in this swap, you must have a rating of 4.5 or higher. No 1's in the past 12 months. No 3's the past 4 months, unless you have a good explanation. Newbies are welcome with (no less than) 5 completed swaps and a flawless 5.0 rating. No exceptions! I will be checking profiles periodically. Participants are urged to rate/comment on a flaker accordingly.

Please ask any questions before signing up. Thanks!

Please rate according to the Swap-bot criteria below.

What are the rating criteria?

There are only three different rating criteria: I got my stuff and it met posted swap requirements (5 points); I got my stuff, but it didn't meet the posted swap requirements (3 points); I never got anything (1 point). Keep in mind that you are NOT rating your partners on whether or not you liked what you received, only on if it met the requirements of the swap. The fun thing about swaps is that you never know what you are going to get, and that means that sometimes you may not be thrilled with what you receive.

What are hearts and how do I give them?

If someone sends you an extra special swap package that far exceeds the swap requirements, you can give that person a heart, if you'd like.

Just a thought - I know my mail gets wet a lot, so when I send packets of cocoa or coffee, kool - aid, etc ... I put them in a Ziploc type sandwich bag to keep it safer and dry(er). It's not fool proof, just a suggestion.

I hope I can be apart of this swap. The store I work at just got some individual packets of hot cocoa. I saw this swap before they got them in, and I never seen individual ones before so I was very excited when I saw them in the store! =)
